Interviewing Skills for Supervisors

Introduction

Interviews are a major element of the Supervisor's role as he/she may be involved in selection, counseling, grievance, disciplinary, appraisal or termination interview situations. However, the interview can be as daunting a prospect for the interviewer as the interviewee, particularly if the interviewer has had no formal training!

Aims and Objectives

This workshop will enable delegates to understand and develop the interview process and more confidently carry out effective interviews - no matter the situation.

The Course Covers

Target Audience

Supervisors and first line Managers with little or no formal experience or training in interviewing technique. The workshop is also suitable for those wishing to "brush-up" their interviewing skills.
