Who is this course for?

This course is aimed at managers, supervisors, engineers and persons responsible for carrying out risk assessments for HAV and WBV.

Aims

To educate personnel about the indicators, symptoms, causes and responses to the Hand Arm Vibration condition known as ‘white finger’ this will be achieved by meeting the following objectives:

To give candidates an understanding of current legislation and how it applies to Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome. To enable the candidate to identify the risks and symptoms of white finger. Candidates will realise the need to limit exposure to excessive vibration.
