Environmental Controls for Buildings

Introduction

This course will benefit Building Service Engineers at all levels who maintain, install, design and commission building plant. It will also be of use to Energy Efficiency and Clerk of Works (Power) staff. Environmental Controls correctly installed, maintained and inspected regularly maintain the environment in any building effectively, efficiently and help to reduce all fuel bills.

Aims

The aim of the course is to provide an understanding of the principles for environmental controls used in Building Services. It will provide delegate's with a basic skill and knowledge that can be applied to most, if not all manufacturer's equipment at present being supplied. It will also briefly examine the water and air distribution required for Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems.
