Introduction

The use of pesticides/poisons is the method favored more and more for the control of pests including rabbits, foxes and squirrels etc.

The release of toxic gases is of course as dangerous to man and vegetation as it is to the intended target.

In order that this process is carried out with the minimum of risk, personnel involved must be conversant with safe working practices and have a working knowledge of the relevant regulations.

Aims

This programme has been developed to provide delegates with the knowledge to monitor efficiently, pest control being carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
