F Gas. Safe Handling of CFC Refrigerants C&G 2079 Basic Refrigeration

Introduction

This 5 day course is designed for engineers who have limited experience of working within the refrigeration industry and would like to enhance their skills/knowledge further.

Brazing is part of the final assessment therefore it is a necessity for candidates to be familiar with this as no in depth training will be given.

By undertaking the course, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the legal and environmental requirements of the regulations and will be able to demonstrate the application of practical skills to successfully fabricate and examine pipework, undertake pressure testing, evacuation and record completion, refrigerant charging, leak checking and record keeping, recovery of refrigerants/ oil and preparation for disposal.
