Authorised Person Pressure Systems Safety

This course is designed to meet the essential requirements of safe working procedures on pressure systems required by the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 Provision and use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and Defence Estates (DE) Safety Rules and Procedures, Mechanical systems.

Who will benefit

Personnel who have been nominated for appointment as Authorised Person Mechanical or Skilled Persons Mechanical and are suitably qualified.


To provide information on pressure systems containing relevant fluids, and to ensure that candidates have a thorough understanding of the MOD Safe System of Work and associated Permit to Work procedures.
