Manual Handling Risk Assessment for Supervisors/Assessors of Care StaffIntroductionStatistics show that within the Health Services almost 50% of accidents reported under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1985 (RIDDOR) are due to the improper handling of heavy loads.
